HOW WE PROTECT DATA

Data Handling, Cookies and Account Security

We apply TLS encryption to all data in transit and AES-256 encryption to stored credentials, including your UPI and Paytm details.

Cookie Policy

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and analytics cookies to understand which pages load slowly on mobile. You can adjust cookie preferences in your browser settings at any time; opting out of analytics cookies does not affect your account.

KYC Document Handling

Identity documents you submit for KYC — Aadhaar, PAN, passport — are passed to our regulated verification partner over an encrypted channel and are never stored on our web servers. Once verification is complete, we retain only the outcome and reference ID.

Payment Data Security

UPI handles and Paytm or PhonePe numbers are stored in a tokenised form. Our platform never sees your full bank account number; the payment processor holds the sensitive string and returns only a transaction reference to our system.

Retention Schedule

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active and for the period required by applicable law after closure. If you request deletion, non-legally-required data is purged within 30 days of identity verification.

Third-Party Sharing

We share data only with parties essential to operating your account — payment gateways, identity-verification providers and fraud-screening services. Each third party signs a data-processing agreement that prohibits them from using your data for their own marketing.

Your Access Rights

You can request a full export of the personal data we hold about you at any time. Submit the request via the in-account Help Centre or by email. We verify your identity first, then deliver the export within 14 working days.

Frequently Asked Privacy Questions

Below are the questions our account holders in India ask most often about data privacy, cookies and their rights under this policy. If your question is not covered here, our privacy desk is available via email or live chat.

We collect your name, email, date of birth, mobile number and the payment identifier you register — such as your UPI handle or Paytm number. We also log the IP address and device type used at sign-up for fraud prevention and account security purposes.

Your UPI or PhonePe details are passed only to the payment processor needed to complete your transaction. That processor operates under a data-processing agreement. We do not share your payment identifiers with advertisers, affiliates or any other third party.

Log in and open the Help Centre under My Account, then raise a data-access ticket. Alternatively, email our privacy desk with your registered mobile number. We verify your identity first and deliver a full data export within 14 working days of confirmation.

Yes. Submit a deletion request through the in-account Help Centre or by email. Data not subject to a legal retention requirement is purged within 30 days of identity verification. We will confirm in writing once the deletion is complete.

We retain account data for the period required by applicable law following closure — typically for financial-record and anti-fraud compliance. Once that period expires, your data is deleted from our active systems and backups on the next scheduled purge cycle.

We use session cookies for login continuity and analytics cookies to measure page performance. Analytics cookies can be disabled in your browser settings without affecting your account. Disabling session cookies will log you out each time you close the browser tab.

Contact our privacy desk by email or via live chat immediately. Include your registered mobile number and a brief description of your concern. We treat all data-mishandling reports as high priority and will respond within one working day with an initial assessment.
